AC4Ed is a nonprofit provider of federally funded Early Head Start programs in Mecklenburg County. This program serves expectant mothers and families with children under three.

We provide support for identified needs such as therapy for physical and development delays and health services. We also provide connections to community resources for housing and financial stability.
Each family works with a dedicated support professional to set goals and access the resources needed to overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency.

Options include home-visitation services and center-based programs. Regardless of which program is right for your family, our team of highly trained, passionate professionals is ready to help you and your child be ready for school. ​
