There are many, many ways to get involved with Alliance Center for Education! From reading
to students in the classroom, to homework help and guest speaker presentations, to making
a financial contribution, all gifts of time, talent and treasure are greatly appreciated!
How can you help?
Volunteers opportunities are available in all of our Centers, serving children from birth through 12th grade. Our Early Education Centers serve children from birth to five, and options include reading and classroom participation, helping during mealtimes, assistance with events and celebrations, as well as opportunities for beautification projects inside and on the grounds.
Our afterschool and summer camp programs present many volunteer opportunities including helping with homework at all grade levels, guest speaker presentations, assistance with events and celebrations, and more.

We also welcome groups and corporate volunteers and are happy to customize your volunteer experience. Please contact Katie Wayne at katie@ac4ed.org to create a volunteer outing or program to suit your community investment goals.

Share Your Talents
Our curriculum supports life skills development for children and families, and can include topics on finance, housing, child and family development, college and career preparation, among others. To help expose our students to the wide array of potential careers and give them a solid foundation of life skills, not to mention strengthening those skills with their parents, we often engage local professionals as individuals and representatives of their businesses to make guest presentations to our students and families. If you would like to work with us, please submit a volunteer interest form and a representative will reach out to discuss.
Contribute
We welcome our community to support us in the work we do! Our staff, our families, our communities, and our organization are all stronger when we work together. There have been many challenges over the past several years and our students need us more than ever to ensure their readiness for school and success in life.

Annually, we need to raise $500,000 to provide our high-quality educational programs and full array of comprehensive services to every child and family we serve. Your gift of $10, $100 or $1,000 can go a long way to ensure children have everything they need to help them build a solid foundation and develop a love of learning that can last a lifetime.

There are many ways to contribute to AC4Ed. We gladly accept cash and check by mail and credit cards online. You can even set up monthly recurring payments by bank draft or credit card. Gifts of stock and payments from 401ks can also be arranged. Please contact Katie Wayne at katie@ac4ed.org with questions or assistance making a gift to AC4Ed.
We are also very appreciative to be the recipient of funds raised through third-party fundraisers, those held by other groups for the benefit of Alliance Center for Education. These can range from small, in-house fundraisers held by businesses to yard sales or restaurant fundraising nights where the proceeds benefit AC4Ed. While we are not able to participate in events held by others, we would love to know about them to celebrate that others in our community want to help us meet our goals. If you are interested in hosting a third-party fundraiser to benefit AC4Ed and would like assistance or logo use guidelines, please submit this short form and someone will contact you shortly.
